Al Barari exhibits up to 6.5km of waterways, one of the larger manmade water systems in the UAE. The waterways which also include 5 lakes and 6 wetlands are envisioned to create an extensive network of "living waterways".
Through careful mimicking of natural waterway systems, the intent is to create a unique waterscape within a residential development, while also contributing meaningfully to the water quality of the site. If approached from an ecological perspective, the waterways have the ability to create sensitive habitats for a variety of fauna and flora, ideal for the nature lover.
