// Common Parkland
The Common Parklands form the bulk of the exterior spaces between the Al Barari Leaf Clusters. As with the Themed Gardens, the Common Parklands have a variety of spaces however are communally linked through a naturalistic waterway system that meanders through the parklands. The overall intent of the parklands is thus to create a harmonious link between the themed gardens and pathway networks that are linked to each rear garden to the villas. It was seen as a key driver to the masterplan for these parklands to create lush gardens which each end user to gain access to, all of which ultimately would link to the various Themed Gardens scattered around the development.
The Common Parklands look to unify the remaining spaces of the development and thus have a uniform application in terms of the planting palette and hardscape areas. This ensures that the Themed Gardens remain a focus and accent within the greater exterior spaces. This does not mean that the Common Parklands present themselves as ordinary, quite the contrary. These spaces look to create a dense green network of common spaces throughout the development for all users to enjoy as well as creating an environmental benefit in terms of creating habitat for birds, mammals and other indigenous fauna.
