As the largest privately owned undertaking of its type in the region, Al Barari’s on-site nursery provides all the trees, bushes, plants and groundcovers for entire garden and landscaping requirements.
More than a million plants from over 1,800 species and 20 countries are cultivated in the nursery, under the watchful eye of Al Barari’s own horticulturalists and landscape designers.
Each plant, many of which are propagated on-site from seed of cutting, is carefully nurtured to ensure it is in optimal condition before it becomes a part of Al Barari’s rich and luscious garden landscape.
Initially the vision of Al Barari’s founder Mr Zaal Mohammed Zaal, the nursery is at the centre of our mission to create an environmentally sustainable, self perpetuating garden in total harmony with nature, from ground-level to canopy.
The massive nursery works hand-in-hand with the landscape design team to ensure that plant species are specifically chosen to meet the needs of location, synergy and hardiness.
